Beginnings
Started as a modest one-person architectural practice on top of a local Chinese
newspaper printing house in Port Louis, Mauritius, by François Wan-AhFat
in May 1982 after his studies in Germany.
Have since successfully completed hundreds of projects throughout this country.
Incorporated as Wan-Ahfat Architects Ltd. on March 8, 2002.

grasp your vision, understand the intricacies involved in going from blueprints
to completion, and are responsive to your needs. That is why you have our commitment

HISTORY TRIVIA
 In
the 1980's and 1990's,
plans were labouriously drawn to scale using Staedler pens
and T-squares. Mistakes were painstakingly corrected manually.
 In
the 2000's, the use of
computers, CAD drawing software, and wide paper printers mean
different alternatives can be quickly and easily presented,
last minute changes can be accomodated, and the client can
intimately participate in the realization of a project.
